Incident at Hall Beach, NWT

Summary

1997-11-13: The aircraft departed Hall Beach, NWT enroute Cape Dorset. There were besides two crew fourteen SOB. On climb out the crew noticed a loss of torque in the number two engine (right). The crew secured the engine and carried out emergency procedures, requested CFR and the aircraft was landed safely at 1551Z without further incident. Company maintenance are enroute Hall Beach from Iqaluit. TSB are investigating.
