Incident at THUNDER BAY, ON

Summary

1997-11-13: The aircraft departed Atikoken, Ontario on a routine bag run to Thunder Bay which had originated at Winnipeg. On departure a ground observer at Atikoken noticed an abnormality with the right gear. The observer phoned Thunder Bay radio and advised them of his observations. When the aircraft arrived at Thunder Bay a fly by was conducted by the pilot and Tower observers confirmed that the gear did not appear to be normal. CFR was alerted and the aircraft landed safely. Maintenance found a broken bracket on the right main gear door.
