1996-01-18: Air Canada ACA 235 a DC9 enroute Saskatoon from Winnipeg was on a straight in approach for runway 27 at Saskatoon. Kelowna Flight Craft KFA 7066 a Convair 580 enroute to Saskatoon from Regina was vectored to a lift base for runway 27. This vector placed both aircraft within 2.5 miles of each other. The minimum lateral separation requirement is 3 miles.
