at La Ronge, SK
Summary
1997-10-31: The Saskatchewan Air Services CANSO was returning from a local water bombing mission. About 40 miles from La Ronge the right engine began emitting smoke and ran very roughly. The engine was shutdown and an emergency declared. The aircraft landed safely at La Ronge. Post flight inspection revealed a blown cylinder head.
