Summary

1997-09-12: The pilot of a Piper PA-24 Comanche aircraft was on a Visual Flight Rules flight from Regina to Pincher Creek. When the aircraft was in the vicinity of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, the pilot reported that the engine was experiencing a high-RPM indication. The pilot declared an emergency, and landed at Swift Current without further incident at 1728Z. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
