Summary

1997-09-10: The pilot of a Cessna 172 aircraft departed Winnipeg International Airport for a flight to Saskatoon/John G. Diefenbaker Airport. Approximately 19 miles east of Saskatoon, the aircraft ran out of fuel and force-landed in a field. The aircraft landed without damage or injuries. The pilot refueled, and departed the field, and landed at Saskatoon a short time later.
