Summary

1997-09-10: The C-130 Hercules aircraft departed runway 31. Shortly afterward, the crew reported that the number 1 engine was overheating, and they were returning to land. CFR was notified and responded. The number 1 engine was shut down and the aircraft returned and landed without further incident.
