Incident at THUNDER BAY ON (CYQT)

Summary

1997-09-05: The pilot of an Awood Air Ltd. Cessna 172 reported a rough-running engine shortly after take-off from Thunder Bay. He completed a normal circuit and landed without further incident. Company maintenance personnel determined that a valve lifter on one of the engine cylinders was bleeding down. In addition, they changed a magneto condenser. The company will be submitting a Service Difficulty Report to Transport Canada.
