Incident at Churchill, MB

Summary

1997-08-21: Shortly after take-off, from Farnsworth Lake, the fuel pressure dropped and the engine began to run roughly. The pilot turned back towards Churchill and set up for a landing on the Churchill River. The engine stopped on short final. The pilot landed the aircraft without any further difficulties. Inspection revealed a cracked fuel line fitting at the carburettor.
