Accident at 8 NM Moosamin, SASK

Summary

1997-08-21: The Pawnee was returning to it's base, after spraying, when the engine sputtered and lost power. The pilot carried out a forced landing in a field. The aircraft came to rest in a ditch, sustaining damage to the wing, fuselage, and propeller. The pilot suffered minor injuries. An engineer examining the aircraft reported finding paper towels in the fuel tank outlet. The RCMP is investigating.
