Incident at Dauphin, MAN
Summary
1997-07-30: A NORDO Taylorcraft Sportsman 19 aircraft, registration C-FMRY, taxied to runway 32 at Dauphin for circuits. Winnipeg Flight Services was unaware of the aircraft until another aircraft flying at Dauphin, C-GDOY, called Winnipeg FSS and made them aware of the situation. A U.S. registered Piper PA-31 Navajo aircraft N55CT reported on final approach for runway 32 at Dauphin, while FMRY departed for the circuit. After FMRY landed, the pilot of C-GDOY reported that FMRY was clear of the runway. The Winnipeg Flight Service Station Manager is sending Aviation Regulatory Compliance a notification.
