Accident at 10 E Rosetown

Summary

1997-07-08: The Pezetel M-18A Dromader aircraft was applying fungicide to a legume crop 10 nautical miles east of Rosetown, Saskatchewan. As the aircraft was nearing the end of the field, it struck an electrical transmission line extending across the field. The line was deflected over the aircraft's vertical stabilizer by the deflector wire, but it struck and damaged the rudder, which extends above the stabilizer. The pilot flew the aircraft to Rosetown, where he landed without further incident.
