Incident at Golf Track at 90W

Summary

1997-04-14: The crew of a Boeing 767 aircraft en route from EGLL to KLAX reported a hydraulic problem in the vicinity of Golf track at 90 W. The pilot advised he was using a backup system but elected to divert to Winnipeg International Airport. Some difficulty with nosewheel steering was expected. ERS was called out. The aircraft landed without further incident on runway 36 at 1734Z. The crew was able to steer the aircraft onto the taxiway, and then a mule was dispatched to assist moving it onto the ramp. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
