Incident at Lynn Lake, Manitoba

Summary

1997-04-10: The DeHavilland Twin Otter aircraft had just landed and taxied off of the runway. As the aircraft was shutting down, the brakes failed and the aircraft moved forward. The pilot steered the aircraft away from airport buildings and other aircraft until the aircraft could be stopped and chocks put in place. Brake fluid was spilled on the ramp, and airport personnel cleaned it up under the supervision of the airport manager.
