Summary
1997-04-10: The Swearingen Merlin aircraft departed Thompson, Manitoba, on a Medevac flight to Shamattawa, Manitoba. When the aircraft was approximately 36 miles east of Thompson, the pilot reported an engine failure and declared an emergency. The aircraft returned to Thompson and landed without further incident. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
