Accident at Muskeg Lake, Ontario

Summary

1997-04-10: The Cessna 337 aircraft departed Dryden, Ontario, on a routine fire detection patrol. The pilot reported an engine failure, and that he was proceeding towards Pickle Lake. The second engine failed, and the aircraft crashed on Muskeg Lake, Ontario (51 40 N 91 95 W). The pilot was not injured and was rescued a short time later. The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
