Incident at RED LAKE ON (CYRL)

Summary

1997-03-13: The pilot of a Beech 18 aircraft on approach to Red Lake advised FSS of a landing gear problem. The pilot performed a low approach to enable a visual inspection of the landing gear from the ground. Maintenance personnel on the ground informed the pilot that the landing gear appeared normal. CFR was placed on standby, and the aircraft landed without further incident.
