Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE)

Summary

1997-02-13: Kelowna Flightcraft 584, a Convair 580, was departing Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on a scheduled freight flight to Winnipeg, Manitoba, when the flap warning horn sounded on the takeoff roll. The crew aborted the takeoff. On the taxiway, the flaps were confirmed to be set at the 15 degree position. Attempts to retract the flaps electrically initially failed. The crew manually cycled the flaps and electrical function was restored. A high speed taxi was requested and after successful completion, the crew departed for Winnipeg.
