Summary

1996-05-15: Morningstar 20, a Boeing 727-22, departed Winnipeg on a scheduled freight flight to Calgary, Alberta. Shortly after takeoff, a cockpit warning light indicated that the aft airstair was not secured. The crew levelled the aircraft at 4000 feet, then returned to the airport and landed without further incident on runway 36, with ERS standing by.
