Incident at 20 W Dryden

Summary

1996-02-13: The A320 encountered moderate to severe turbulence while climbing through FL363. The crew advised that the aircraft went into a 45 degree roll and the pilot could not control the aircraft. The aircraft descended to FL330 before control was regained. The aircraft was climbing to FL370, 9 miles behind a B767 (ACA142). No loss of separation occurred and no other aircraft were inconvenienced.
