Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)
Summary
1996-01-31: Aircraft was approaching Thompson on a passenger flight from Norway House, Manitoba. The left main gear did not indicate down. The pilot cycled the gear several times, and tried the emergency extension system without success. The pilot landed without further incident with CFR standing by. The pilot and 4 passengers were uninjured. Maintenance engineers advise that the left main gear indication microswitch was faulty and is being replaced. An SDR will be submitted to TC.
