Incident at Thompson

Summary

1996-01-26: The pilot was on a VFR flight from Roblin to Thompson and reported a rough running engine 20NM south of Thompson. CFR, RCMP, APM and UOS were notified. The aircraft landed safely. The pilot and passenger were uninjured. Post incident engine run conducted by maintenance did not reveal any abnormalities. A delay in carb heat application caused a build-up of ice in the carb which resulted in a reduction of power.
