Incident at Regina

Summary

1996-01-23: The F28 departed Calgary and was on final for landing at Regina when the left main landing gear door failed to indicate a door-closed condition. The gear was cycled and a down and locked indication was achieved. The aircraft landed without further incident. Inspection of the system revealed no faults. It is suspected the problem occurred as a result of a frozen microswitch. Aircraft returned to service.
