1996-01-17: C402 AWT430 HAD DEPARTED THOMPSON ON A VFR FLIGHT TO WINNIPEG. SW4 METRO PAG115 DEPARTED NORWAY HOUSE VRF TO CROSS LAKE. AWT430 HAD FLIGHT PLANNED FOR 9500 FT AND PAG115 FOR 10500 FT. THE 2 A/C WERE ON CONVERGING PATHS AND PASSED EACH OTHER WITHIN 1500 FT. NEITHER OF THE 2 CREWS WERE AWARE OF EACH OTHER UNTIL AFTER THEY HAD PASSED EACH OTHER.
