Incident at STEPHENVILLE NFLD

Summary

1996-01-17: During the initial climb out of Stephenville the "Door Ajar" caution light for the crew door illuminated. The aircraft returned and landed at Stephenville without incident. The crew then secured the door and departed four minutes later. Arriving at Gander the crew discovered that the top hinge of the door was broken.
