Incident at Moncton, NB

Summary

1997-10-24: The aircraft departed McEwen's airfield (appx. 5 miles nw Moncton) enroute to Trenton, N.S.. The pilot cancelled IFR and requested several hours of VFR work to burn off fuel prior to making an emergency landing at Moncton airport. The pilot spoke to his maintenance department and was able to correct the problem. The emergency was cancelled and the aircraft landed safely at McEwen's at 2143z. TSB evaluating.
