Incident at Halifax, NS

Summary

1997-10-08: Aircraft was enroute Halifax to Montreal but returned to Halifax with #1 engine shut-down. Maintenance found evidence of a small fire in the tailpipe of the #1 engine caused by a leaking left hand manifold nozzle. SDR submitted. TSB case closed.
