Incident at Stephenville, NFLD

Summary

1997-09-23: On climb out, the cockpit emergency overhead hatch departed the aircraft. The flight carried out a normal circuit and landed safely. No injuries. The aircraft had been painted and was on a ferry flight to Goose Bay. The operator is incorporating a visual check of the emergency hatch as part of the aircraft take-off checklist. TSB case closed.
