Accident at Buchands, NFLD

Summary

1997-09-19: The aircraft was on a solo cross country from Stephenville to Springdale, Nlfd. Pilot became lost and landed Buchans. On departure, the pilot was unable to control the aircraft in a strong cross wind. The wing tip and propeller hit the ground and the nose gear was sheared off. No injuries. TSB investigating.
