Incident at 25 Mi SW Port Hawkesbury, NS

Summary

1997-08-27: Pilot contacted Sydney FSS to advise that he was lost. Monction ACC was able to radar identify the aircraft with the help of Halifax FSS. Target was identified 20- miles south of COPAR (COPAR = intersection on V312 between Halifax and Sydney). Aircraft was VFR Moncton to Sydney. Aircraft was vectored to Sydney. All transmission done blind as they appeared to be having radio problems. GTCS landed Sydney at 1614Z. TSB evaluating.
