Accident at Halifax, NS


1997-08-07: Aircraft was parked at bridge with some passengers on board. Servicing vehicle backed at an angle towards aircraft without the aid of a marshaller and struck the aircraft. Aircraft skin punctured resulting in a gash approximately 4" long near the lavatory service door. Driver advised that his foot slipped off the brake. Aircraft was ferried to Toronto for servicing. TSB case closed.
