Incident at 30 mi E of Halifax, NS

Summary

1997-08-05: While in descent to Halifax, the #2 engine began to surge. Engine was shutdown, the pilot requested priority for landing. Aircraft was ferried to St. John's, Nfld. where it was determined that the sensing bellows was causing a loss of P3 air resulting in the surging. TSB case closed.
