Incident at Camp Gagetown

Summary

1997-03-26: At 2040Z, a target was observed exiting CYR724 midway between Gagetown and Fredericton. Target was tracked and correlated to Cape Breton island area. Aircraft was subsequently identified by having the flight squawk ident through Sydney FSS. Aircraft was C-FWOK C182, CYSC-CYPD, est CYPD at 2225Z, 5000 feet VFR. Pilot was told to call ACC. When he did he was advised of the incursion. Pilot confirmed he did make the incursion but it was too late when he realized. Pilot called at 2208Z. TSB advised.
