Incident at Woodstock, New Brunswick

Summary

1996-05-23: The student pilot and instructor were taking off from the 1800 ft strip when the student over rotated and stalled about 10 feet above the runway. The aircraft landed hard in a slight nose-down left wing low attitude about 900 feet from the button and just to the right of the runway. No injuries. The left main gear and nose gear were damaged. Minor fuselage damage also occurred.
