Incident at St. John's, Nfld

Summary

1996-02-20: ON DEPARTURE THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED UP, #2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM LOST PRESSURE. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO ST. JOHN'S AND REQUESTED THE ERS ON STANDBY. DURING THE RETURN THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE RETURNED TO NORMAL AND THE LANDING GEAR WAS RECYCLED 3 TIMES SUCCESSFULLY.MAINTENANCE SUSPECTS AIR IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THEY BLED THE SYSTEM AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. TSB CASE CLOSED.
