Summary

1996-02-16: APPROACHING 62N/50W AT FLIGHT LEVEL350, AIRCRAFT LOST #3 ENGINE AND COMMENCED EMERGENCY DESCENT TO FL290 AFTER TURNING SOUTH OF ASSIGNED ROUTING. ATC HAD BEEN UNABLE DESCENT DUE TRAFFIC. OTHER TRAFFIC WAS A BOEING 737 SLIGHTLY BEHIND ON SAME TRACE AT FL330. WHEN M50001 DESCENDED THROUGH FL330, OFF TRACK, THERE WAS ABOUT 6 MILES LATERAL SEPARATION WITH THE B737. TSB CASE CLOSED.
