Incident at 100 NM E Gander

Summary

1996-01-30: GRNZ enroute Halifax to St John's reported a hydraulic failure. Requested ERS on standby at St John's. Aircraft landed without incident at 2243Z. Problem was failure of primary (green) system. Crew switched to secondary (yellow) system. Maintenance found the hydraulic pressure transmitter was leaking causing loss of fluid, causing the failure. TSB case closed.
