Incident at Deer Lake

Summary

1996-01-16: Aircraft missed approach due to indication that nose gear was not down and locked. Aircraft entered a hold, pilot declared an emergency then completed an approach and uneventful landing at 2300Z. Cleared runway with no problems. TSB Info - Maintenance determined that nose gear microswitch had frozen. Switch was thawed and aircraft returned to service.
