1993-11-19: SW2 MERLIN JETALL C-FJTL - WHILE ENROUTE, LEFT WING OVERHEAT LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOLLOWED BY LEFT GENERATOR FAILURE. LEFT ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN AND A/C LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. COMPANY MNTNCE FOUND A CHAFFED WIRE WHICH SHORTED, RESULTING IN LIGHT AND GENERATOR FAILURES. TIME = 1164Z. ACTION = PAX, PAH, PAE, IKO-PIA.
