Incident at LONDON
Summary
1993-09-29: DH8 AIR ONTARIO C-GONJ - DURING CLIMB, CREW NOTICED #2 ENGINE ITT APPROX 100 DEGREES HOTTER THAN OTHER ENGINE. OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATING BETWEEN 40- 50 PSI AND CREW NOTED MASTER WARNING ANNUNCIATOR/ POWER ON #2 WAS REDUCED BUT TORQUE BEGAN TO FLUCTUATE AND ITT REMAINED HIGH. CREW SHUTDOWN #2 AND RETURNED TO LONDON. ERS. MNTNCE FOUND AIR SWITCHING VALVE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. VALVE WAS REPLACED AND GROUND RUN PERFORMED. A/C BACK IN SERVICE. OPS IMPACT - UNKNOWN. FROM TSB INITIAL. TIME = 1140Z. ACTION = PAX, PAH, PAE.
