Summary

1993-08-15: BL28 SCOUT AIR CADET LEAGUE C-GDVY - DURING NORMAL LANDING, STUDENT PILOT LANDED LONG ON RWY 23. PRIOR TO ROLLING TO A STOP, THE A/C'S RIGHT WHEEL DROPPED INTO AN 18"RUT LEFT BY A VEHICLE. THE INSTRUCTOR ASSISTED IN GETTING THE A/C OUT OF AN UNUSUAL ATTITUDE. NO DAMAGE. CONES MARKING THE RUTS HAD BEEN TAKEN AWAY AFTER THE SUMMER GLIDING OPERATIONS HAD ENDED. DAMAGE TO THE LANDING AREA COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DETECTED WHILE ROLLING. CONES HAVE BEEN REPLACED UNTIL THEY ARE FILLED. FROM AIR CADET LEAGUE NOTIFICATION FORM. TIME = 1430Z. ACTION = PAX, PAH, PAE, TSB.
