1993-07-22: B727 AMERICAN AIRLINES N863AA - WHILE BOARDING PAX AT GATE B-10, TERMINAL 3, SMOKE WAS OBSERVED IN THE CABIN OF A/C. PAX WERE EVACUATED THROUGH THE NORMAL CABIN DOOR, AUXILARY POWER UNIT WAS SHUT DOWN & ERS RESPONDED. SOURCE OF SMOKE WAS A FAULTY LIGHT BALLAST AT ROW 11. UNIT WAS REPLACED & A/C DEPARTED.
