Summary

1993-07-09: C180B C-FLZR - TOWER CONTROLLER NOTICED TARGET ON RAMP RADAR 10 MILES EAST OF THE ISLAND AIRPORT PROCEEDING WESTBOUND (ALTITUDE & TYPE UNKNOWN). A/C PROCEEDED THROUGH THE CONTROL ZONE WITHOUT CONTACTING THE TOWER. ONT 348 (DASH 8) WAS GIVEN A CAUTIONARY RIGHT TURN TO AVOID TRAFFIC. TARGET WAS FURTHER TRACKED & EVENTUALLY LANDED AT HAMILTON. PILOT CONTACTED TORONTO ISLAND TOWER THROUGH HAMILTON TOWER & ADVISED THAT HE HAD RECEIVED CLEARANCE TO PROCEED THROUGHT THE ZONE ON FREQUENCY 120.0 MHZ . OSHAWA TOWER ADVISED THAT THEY HAD WORKED THE A/C AT APPROX. THE SAME TIME. TIME - 1720Z. ACTION - PAE PAP PAR TSB.
