1993-06-22: DC9 AIR CANADA C-FTLZ - A/C ENROUTE TORONTO-MIAMI, CREW REPORTED "OIL STRAINER CLOGGED" LIGHT. THE PROBLEM ENGINE WAS BROUGHT BACK TO IDLE & INFORMATION ON THE PROBLEM WAS PASSED TO CLEVELAND CENTRE. TORONTO CENTRE RECEIVED THE INFORMATION AS "AN ENGINE OUT". TORONTO TOWER INITIATED AN ERS BUT THE EQUIPMENT WAS STOOD DOWN WHEN THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. A.C LANDED SAFELY. TIME - 0054Z. ACTION - PAX PAH PAE TSB IKO-PIA.
