Summary

1993-06-17: The Air Ontario Inc. de Havilland DHC-8 turbopropeller aircraft (C-GONX) had the passenger chime in the cabin beeping continuously during the flight. After the sign had been switched off, the Flight Attendant reported that she smelled smoke behind a cabin light panel. The flight crew requested emergency services for the uneventful landing. On inspection, Maintenance staff found that the public address system had shorted out. TIME - 2035Z. ACTION - PAX PAH TSB IKO-PIA.
