Accident at TORONTO / OSHAWA EXECUTIVE AIRPORT ON (CYOO)
1998-05-20: C150 SKYCRAFT C-GSCO - WHILE LANDING ON RWY 04, THE A/C BOUNCED 5 OR 6 TIMES. THE A/C THEN PROCEEDED TO THE HANGER. THE TOWER OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE PROP, AND THE NOSE GEAR OLEO WAS BROKEN. NO REPORTED INJURIES. OPS IMPACT - NONE. TIME = 1828Z. ACTION = PAX, PAH, PAR, TSB.
2004-03-30: Supplemental information from T.S.B. Initial Notification (#A93O0106): After completing a dual checkout with an instructor, the student pilot was permitted to continue circuits unaccompanied on runway 04 at Oshawa Airport (CYOO) in the Skycraft Air Transport Inc. Cessna 150M aircraft (C-GSCO). During the second landing, the aircraft was flared late, touched down hard and then continued to bounce or porpoise several times. The pilot regained control and exited the runway with the nose wheel bent forward. The ground controller advised the pilot and requested that the aircraft be shut down as a precautionary measure. Examination revealed that along with the propeller, the nosewheel and engine mountings were substantially damaged. The pilot was not injured in the occurrence.
