1998-05-08: C140 JETSTAR C-FCWV - THE PILOT NOTED AN A/C SYSTEM MALFUNCTION WITH THE ENGINE WHILE OVERFLYING THE EASTERN END OF AMHERST ISLAND. THE PILOT CIRCLED THE A/C BACK OVER THE CENTRE OF THE ISLAND PRIOR TO MAKING A FORCED SOFT FIELD LANDING IN A FARMER'S FIELD. 1 SOB - NO INJURIES. NO DAMAGE TO A/C. A/C OWNER HAS BEEN INFORMED AND FARMER IS AWARE OF THE A/C. FIELD IS TOO WET TO REMOVE A/C. TIME = 1530Z. ACTION = PAH, TSB.
