Summary

1998-03-06: PA3 CUB TRAINER C-FKKZ - WHILE TRYING TO LAND THE SKI EQUIPPED A/C ON A SNOW COVERED PRIVATE STRIP NEAR ORILLIA UNDER OVERCAST AND LIGHT SNOW WX CONDITIONS, THE PILOT MOMENTARILY LOST VISUAL REFERENCE AND MADE A HARD LANDING. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED AS A RESULT OF THE CROSS BRACE BREAKING AND THE A/C CAME TO REST UPRIGHT WITH THE LANDING GEAR, PROP, AND RIGHT WING DAMAGED. TIME = 2200Z. ACTION = PAH, PAR, TSB.
