1998-02-06: L101 TRI-STAR L1011 C-FTNB - DURING APU START-UP, WHILE THE A/C WAS PARKED AT GATE 51, TERMINAL 1, A LOUD BANG WAS HEARD FOLLOWED BY A FIRE INDICATION ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. FIRE BOTTLES WERE DISCHARGED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. ERS WAS ON STAND BY. THE FIRE BOTTLES WERE RECHARGED AND THE A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE WITH AN UNSERVICABLE APU. TIME - 0301Z.
