1998-01-14: PA31 C-FAAF - A/C INBOUND TO LA RONGE WAS UNABLE TO LOWER THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. PILOT CHOSE TO LAND GEAR UP TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE. A/C CAME TO REST ON THE GRASS NEXT TO RWY 35, 1200' FROM THE THRESHOLD OF RWY 17, 25' EAST. NO INJURIES OR FATALITIES. RWY 17/25 WAS CLOSED UNTIL THE A/C WAS REMOVED. TIME - 2144Z. ACTION - NIL.
